Sewing Weekend

Twice a year I escape to the western edge of Wisconsin, and

hole up in a house for a weekend with my gal pals, to sew.

This photo is from last falls weekend, and happens to be my

bday weekend. The emails are flying, our spring weekend is in

March. I am lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful female

minds and creative spirits. We are a great group, and every time

we gather, the names and number of us is a little different. Doesn't

seem to matter though, a good time is had by all. Emily Jane came

for dinner this night and took the photo, and we had one friend whose

family plans changed at the last minute, so was able to join us. The

Inn Was Full, however, so she came for just one day, driving over

3 hours to be with us. I honestly don't even remember what we

all made!, but I know we had a great time.
