Snow Day Mittens

Mittens from felted wool sweaters : first attempt......they are "OK" but not great, for me I think they are too big, which is easy to fix....have just read in a library book, directions for these, so will copy that pattern and try again.......the book also has an EZ pattern for a nice looking hat.....this was a Good Project for yesterday's Snow Day (after the 3 or more hours of shoveling 4-5ft driveway drifts with the neighbors!.........
